Video editor

Ryan Wallis

Short-form social video built to stop the scroll and hold attention. I edit, voice and finish every piece in Final Cut Pro, working with real footage and AI-generated footage from Higgsfield and Google Flow. Also branded promos, interview edits, voiceovers and long-form YouTube edits.

How I work

Hook-first editing

The first three seconds decide whether anyone stays. I cut for the opening first, then the payoff, and anything that doesn't earn its place goes.

Broadcast voiceover

Trained at BBC Television and ABC Radio Newcastle. I write and record voiceover at my own desk, so script, voice and edit come from one place.

Real and AI footage

I test AI generators against a fixed brief, keep the ones that hold up, and cut their footage alongside real footage so the result reads as filmed.
